I find Occam most clearly expresses what I find agreeable, and I am also quite firm in my stance that I am not confused, nor am I a theist or atheist. I see no problem taking the position that I am convinced that I won't know the answer to that question for the rest of my life. I may be wrong, but that will surprise me. It is unfair to label those who have deduced a personal conclusion that is not within someone elses allowable parameters to be confused. I am often accused of not standing for anything, for sitting on the fence, for trying to please both sides. None of which is the case for me. I stand by my conclusions, and I don't sit on the fence, I say what I stand for, and I don't care if anyone is pleased or not. That may account for the nearly unanimous reaction that I receive from others, which is one of displeasure. I like the stance that it doesn't matter. I don't know, but I don't care that I don't know, and don't think it matters either way. That is my firm position. If others want specifics, I am happy to share them, and see no reason to be concerned if they find my views 'stupid', or 'crazy', or 'nonsense', which most seem to do. The only thing that causes slight concern to me is the fact that I most agree with the poll answer which is most popular. Usually, that suggests I am off course. I'd feel more reassured if my view was least popular.
As for global stats: 85 % theists 12.5 % don't know, 2.5% atheists. Logically, since the list of atheists posted on another thread is full of folks I really admire, and I nearly always find that I agree with the most unpopular position, I should be an atheist. My whole family is atheist, my fiance is too.
It would sure be a lot easier if I was one too, but, hey, that's life. I am quite sure that atheism is a view I will never be able to accept myself, but you never know, cuz surprisingly, I find that I am wrong a lot of the time.

    Agree
It is very pleasant to know that others like yourself do not twist reality
as they 'will describe it' because they 'desire' an 'ends'.
Even if that 'ends' is the emotional corruption [desire] of the 'means'..
    clarity and accuracy of thought.
