where do you find people who arent shallow and who have minds of there own?

yea i have a huge problem with getting bord of people very easly.

 

What is it you want and what is it you expect? You're 15. I don't usually waste my time with teenagers because they act like they know everything and somehow the world owes them. I don't know about others, but I sure wasn't like that when I was 15, and it just plain annoys the hell out of me.


Ultimately, it's all mental. Just be yourself. You will find a lot of shallow minded "trash" everywhere you go. Just roll with the punches and learn how to weed them out.

Being under 18 is just going to play against you meeting anyone mature.. The problem is multifaceted but predominantly because you are a minor..
Even if you are the rarest example of intellect and maturity for your age, its just commonly assumed that any adult that has a close association with a child (that is not their own) is a pedophile. That's just not the social stigma that most mature adults want to risk developing. Essentially leaving you with your pears and the actual pedophiles..

Environments like religious and hobby groups/clubs might be somewhat more conducive to making older friends under the pretense of a commonly shared belief or interest that might help diminish the awkwardness and assumptions of inappropriate behavior.
Keep it platonic though (unless they're your age, then just be safe)

 

yeaa i get what ya mean about the whole creepier thing and it not like im looking for older people im just looking for people who actually give a shit about stuff and arent worried about fitting in. ya know?

I'm totally there with you.. I have never fit in with my peer group, especially when I was young. Back then I was completely revolted by the intellect, attitudes and personality's of kids my age.. I couldn't wait until I was in my 30 so that I might be taken seriously by "adults"..
I started volunteering to work for small business owners (farmers,Carpenters, even a restaurant and guy that ran a cleaning business) under the pretense that i was looking to pick up new skills and get/stay in shape.
Because I wasn't after money and willing to work hard I got one thing that I really liked, respect (from adult people) and consequentially access to many other new and interesting things.. Nothing technically responsible or mature though (just more accessible to adults) but at the time it seemed big to me.
Mind you I am male and it was 20 years ago so it was a little less frowned upon than it might be today.

By the way I'm in my 30's now, I might be taken more seriously but most of my peers are still either sheep or wolves (and a lot of sheep have fangs now a days).
Those that are willing to stray from the herd for the purpose for anything other than becoming part of a smaller pack are still rare and hard to come by (that's what brings me here).
