It never snows where I live in northern coastal California.... I mean it snows about 20 miles inland, but if you are on the coast it is not a problem. Incidentally, everytime I have been to Arizona or New Mexico it has been snowing.
Yes, it snows in AZ, and not just in the mountains. I was in Tucson when it snowed in winter of '91 or 92.

Yup I remember the blizzard of 93 I lived in central bama at that time. It hasn't snowed at the beach though qrobably since then.
