I still don't understand why everyone else should present evidence, and your only role is to say that evidence is false because you know the truth.

Where is your evidence? Or are we expected to take you at your word because you know the truth? .. Actually, don't bother, I'm done. One can not reason with the unreasonable.

I don't deny that scientists are incapable of corruption, but I don't accept views just because they come out of a university. They must accord with my own logic and reason.

Now if the research is false, you will be able to provide evidence that it is false, which I am very eager to see.

 

If you want to "trust" a translation is filled with mistranslations, spurious scriptures and antiquated language that very few can truly understand anymore and that was translated to please King James and not God, you can if you want. As for me and my family we will use a translation that actually reflects God's will.

After reading your response to my post I've realized that you won't even listen to the truth from the Bible and if you won't listen to God's word then it really doesn't matter what anyone shows you, even God in his word, you just aren't listening.

As for science, you are so afraid of "evolution" you won't even accept that properly used science has told us much about the works of God and the nature of the universe God created.

As I remember, the Doppler effect or Red shift in stars was used in proving an expanding universe and how fast it is expanding and not to prove the age of the universe.

When and where is the line drawn? At what point exactly do we retrospect on OUR 'progress' in the universe and judge what direction it went in. In space there is no north, south, east, or west...its all a big jumble. So there isn't really a specific physical destination. As far as philosophical....well maybe our bodies exclusively emit a gas that is toxic to the material organization of the universe...meaning our actual purpose is to decease.

Maybe it will be like an un-inspired sci fi movie where the rhythm of the universe is off, and it is our purpose as humans to reset it by shooting a nuclear weapon into the center of it. Maybe we will do that anyway, just to see what happens and die because of that. What if our own stupidity kills us and we never live out the 'purpose'. That'd be a boner killer of a story. Maybe our purpose is just to live, wouldn't that be simple? Already done did that. What if your born and you've already served your purpose? Everything after that is a bonus, the size of the bonus relative to however long you make it. Or maybe there is no point at all, like you say.

Its all theory until you die really. Gotta die to find out. Well that sucks...oh well better enjoy my time until I get there and not complain about what everyone else is doing. Your thought process sounds like it was stamped out of a dark drab rainy factory, and you realize the fact that there is no specific job listed. No 'to do list' in that hypothetical cosmic file cabinet that so many believe lurks out there in the universe somewhere, and if there is such a thing...you think that you are destined to squander with the majority. Which might be true, and might not be. I'm not trying to insult you, its just...such a simple view. Don't get me wrong, simple would be an acceptable outcome, well it doesn't really matter if its acceptable if its going to mean our end...oh geez head explosion. It all depends on your convictions my friend. Take it for what it is, you will not be given any more. You want more you have to take it, you want less you have to leave it.
