Well, I will try, but I need a few hours.

I'll start by saying that only the nut-cases are saying he's a fascist. Name me one reputable political commentator (one who is published in a major newspaper or magazine) who says that.

 

I see, well if he does turn out so bad as you say I hope he is not voted for a 2nd term.. Like before..

 

I cannot name a single reporter that works for the corporate media that would say this, because even if they had their own opinions (they don't), they would probably end up losing their job.

Barack Obama IS a fascist. He is using ever-increasing coporate and banker controlled state power to gain further control over the people. Obama is the quintessential fascist. It is not quite as open as the fascism seen under Hitler (not yet anyway), but it's there.

No, Obama is just a cruel hoax. Most of the sheeple that worship him know nothing other than what has been spoonfed to them by the media, which played a crucial role in getting him into office. Most people's image of Obama is nothing more than the product of a multi-million dollar PR campaign based around empty and meaningless slogans like "hope" and "change."

Wow, that is one of the looniest statements I've heard in a long time. So, according to you there is a 100% liberal, pro-Obama bias in the media, which is obviously not true. Do you even read newspapers and magazines, or are you getting all this 'news' from underground survivalist organizations?

No, the media administers both sides, but with each side they tell you only what is safe for them to have you know. All this stuff about left and right is a joke. It serves only to control and divide people. The left and right is controlled by the same corporate interests. It's an illusion. The people at the top could not care less if you're an idiot left winger or an idiot right winger, as long as you are thinking inside box and believing the lies they tell you.

Sure, I read newspapers. I also read books, which is where most of my knowledge comes from. I don't sit in front of the TV and absorb the propaganda that's being fed to me like most people in America who think they know what's going on but don't have a clue.

There's a small kernel of truth in what you say, but I think you are describing a trend over the last 20 years, not the reality (yet). Take the New York Times. Even tho I was very disappointed in their unquestioning coverage of the leadup to the Iraq War, they have historically been known as the "Newspaper of Record" and I do think they still have journalistic standards that do not permit them to simply bend over to corporate interests.

Ya I want to believe everything isn't as fucked up or corrupt as it seems when it comes to the media and politics, but it just never seems to change. How someone can love and follow politics constantly is beyond me, it is so frustrating..

How can they have journalistic standards when the public doesn't even know what that means? What does the public have to base "journalistic standards" on. To THEM journalistic standards means being able to lie and have the people believe it.
