I can't find it anymore but the hello.bc website used to have a list of the BC advertisements. They went something like "This is the best place on Earth" Anyway, there was a picture on one of the webpages that had the commercials on them of a man standing beside a very big waterfall. I want to know where it is. I would love to go there since there didn't appear to be any ropes or gates or restrictions from the fall. To be that close to something so beautiful would be amazing. I really want to know where it is. My mom suggested Bridal Falls but when I looked it up it wasn't the right one.
I like the Rocky Mountains. Camping anywhere in that chain is a garanteed good time. Always lots to look at too. I also love Vancouver Island, Nelson, and other such areas. Specifically, though, the Kokanee Creek Campground, just outside Nelson. One of my fav places. Peace
My goal after I get out of high school and get some other things done over the summer, is to go explore Canada (I'm just not sure when exactly). This thread has inspried me to not let go of that goal...this rocks! The pics and the descriptions...wow.
I havent set foot back in Canada for over two years-and spent only 9 months of the last 7 years there-Man I miss home.......Have to say that anywhere in Canada is a pretty damn nice place to be-I guess i never realized it until i left for so long-I dont care if it sounds American but we are soooooo fucking lucky for the country we have.Keep it warm for me and leave the lights(northern)on until I get back..ps Ill buy the first round.
For beauty, I looove the west coast. I also love the weed out there and all the glorious hippys. The koots are nice too. In fact everywhere in BC is pretty. For culture Montreal is where its at as far as musack and art go. If you want down to earth drunks and gorgeous skies the prairies are really nice. I haven't been to the Yukon or the territories yet, but this summer Imma check em out. Imagine the sun never going down. Wow.
every sunday, spring through autumn, for over thirty years, there has been a drum jam in the park in montreal. two weeks ago there were over 4,000 people there, plus, lot`s of kind bud( which is decriminalized throughout most of canada.) it is one of the more amazing and high-spirited gatherings in a major city anywhere in the world. check it out!
I love going there! So many free-spirited people. And by the way, the park you speak of is called Mount Royal . Oh and..`Kind Bud`? Peace man, Angela
For city vibes, I go to the New Amsterdam Cafe in Vancouver BC or hang out at the park in Kamloops BC on a Friday night. Every Friday during the summer, there is a free concert, then there is a drum circle with fire dancing and hula hooping. Lots of good vibes. But my absolute fave place to hang out is my hometown, Sun Peaks BC. All the locals are super friendly, lots of fellow pot heads, beautiful scenery, clean and almost no crime. Gotta love it!
Campin out at folk fest just outside of Winnipeg is always wicked, that or chilling by grand beach, one of playboys top ten beaches.
mtnhighmama- Is there really concerts every friday night in Kamloops? I'm going to Sicamous this summer, and I'd love to check that out. I've really gotta get a car that works so that I can hang out there more often. I love it there so much!
