yes i do, and look around teh world its working. socialist finland has the lowest porvety rate, and smallest richest poor gap, in socialist countries the people come first and are supported by their governments its no coincidence taht some of the smartest people and best doctors in teh world come from cuba(highly federalized nation) i dont like all aspects of cuban society but they have good ideas about education what better way to encourage education than to make all schooling free for everyone?
What about YOUR government, Fonz? Do you trust in them? Will THEY be your guiding light? Will you submit willingly to their voice for your security? Does Washington D.C. make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Please...don't make me throw up...not on my keyboard, man.
Americans are getting their asses handed to them education-wise by the Japanese. And if the Japanese have compulsory education at least they seem to limit it to the necessary academics, not half the bullshit American schools shove at the children and pass them when they can't even fucking read. No wonder private schools beat the ever-loving shit out of the public school students on academic tests. No wonder the best universities are private universities. The test scores don't lie, my man. Private schools kick ass when it comes to a solid academic education.
no i hate this government, i hate all government, IM an anarco-syndicalist, i believe in the only good govt is lack there of, but people govern themselves in a communal fashion, the only authority it that which is elected be it a union or what have you, that redistributes money so no one goes hungry
yes i go to one, they are great for those who can afford them...but u can have better and worse schools in socialism (cuba for exampel has hard schools and easy schools to get into, the point is regardless of their diffuculty the education is free
Dude, I really respect your philosophy. Seriously. I don't think we are THAT different. I am sure you believe in man's right to life and liberty like I do, but I also believe in man's right to his own privacy and property (not just land or money).
its not like if federalized private schols will have to disband, they are still rigiorous they jsut dont cost 25 thousand dolalrs a year like mine
can u please tho change the definiton of equality on teh poll, it has a negative slant, change it to "The belief that all citizens should have the same access to power and fair treatment in all aspects of society, whether in political, social, economic, or legal arenas."
A person needs to personally define what freedom means to them ....as it appears it may hold a different meaning to each .. but speaking as a whole it may hold a different definition ..and that is not to say that what it is now is what it was initally meant to be ... Freedom to me does not mean run free and abuse everything .. and yes .. taking a position that we are not qualified to manage properly .. in any level is unsafe ...abusive....know your strengths and capabilities ...everything should be within reason and sound mind .. surely ...that is the better way ...we cannot pretend to be something else ..and claim that position .. that is not freedom .. that is a lie ..
Sure, man. But, I think freedom comes first. I agree with you that equal protection should be established, but that is only one aspect of equality. People can't all be "equal" in all areas and progress. It's quite difficult to believe that equality can be achieved in this manner without force or a miraculous love. And I don't believe in miracles.
but completely equal? i dont want complete equality economically, u can make more than others, i jsut dont think u should make that much more, no child should ever experience a christmas where he gets no presents, no one should ever go hungry, yesterday i was watching "My So Called Life" the episode where Ricky runs away from home, and this girl he met froze to death because she had no family and East Pitsburg doesnt have a homeless shelter...i cried my ass off, no one should go thru that
but i mean u guys want liek social freedom for all, thats called equality freedom is an aspect of equality... like freedom (end of slavery) brings equality i dont think economic freedom means anything. i cant see it as anything other than rhetoric...
You got a beautiful heart, Graffiti. I respect that. I'm going to bed now. I'll talk at ya tomorrow perhaps.
