Metallica in were very anti-record distributors in the beginning. Then they got massively famous and sold the 25th biggest selling album of all time and next thing they turned into a bunch of useless cock suckers.
AC/DC is amusing. In the late 70s, their trademark was screaming Eek! Eek! Eek! (you know, like they did in Dirty Deeds. Done! Dirt! Cheap!) Thirty years later they're still doing songs with that Eek! Eek! Eek! in them. I can imagine the technicians in the studio booth saying, "Let's do another take of that, guys. We didn't get quite enough Eek! Eek! Eek!." .

i have a couple ac/dc albums but i don't really like most of their crap. i do like have a drink on me, though.
i'm not braggin but i have been to and worked hundreds of shows....i was lucky that my dad was box office[ticket]manager for huge canadian promoters plus i was IATSE stage hand for ten years...you gotta be IATSE or you dont tour big venues in north america...now my point....watching angus young play live is and was one of the best performances i have ever seen...dont care what they record ...dont buy music anymore anyway
