I'm from/living in Chester, the city which is only 1/2 a mile long.....great. And in about a month I shall be in Glasgow...... I've only been to Scotland about 3 times in my entire life....do I know what I'm letting myself in for?
I'm in Cambridge too at the moment (right in the middle). Will be in Guildford for a few days for some uni stuff, then back here, then god knows where afterwards as I'm still searching for a placement for my 3rd year (this year). If I don't get one I'll end up back in Guildford and go straight into the final year, either that or switch to the music course. That is of course, if by some fluke I manage to pass the retakes I'm doing this week. Plymouth's a nice town (well what I saw of it). Made the not too short journey down there to see the Rs lose the championship decider last april. Good game and atmosphere, and the fans were gracious enough that I didn't feel too bitter about the result. however the day was spoilt by the police who shepherded us from the station to a pub, and then to the ground (via Aberdeen, or so it seemed), and stopped us from getting any lunch before the game, or going for a quiet drink (it's difficult to get to the bar when your sharing the pub with the 500 other QPR fans who chose to get a train rather than to drive). Shame that our game down there is on Boxing day this season. I won't be able to make it what with there being no public transport and with me not driving because of my history of epilepsy.
And your education system over there leaves something to be desired also, your knowledge of history is appauling, and it's not as if you have much! We let you win coz you were all full of pox!

Hello all, I'm new. I've lived in Hong Kong for pretty much all of my life, but I'm English and spent a lot of time in both Kent and Surrey every year... I'm moving to England for Uni at the end of September, i'm off to Southampton.
