I saw a homeless person out begging wearing a mask. I said he has more sense than some working who refuse to wear masks!
So sad. Yup, there’s a whole website devoted to these kinds of stories. https://www.sorryantivaxxer.com/
Got my first jab of Pfizer on june and had no effect save for the slightest soreness in the arm, barely noticeable. The second dose next month near the maximum limit of 42 days and until next day didn't feel a thing. Went with a friend to a pleasure trip involving lots of walking up and down middle age castles on a very hot day then we took a swim in the sea but after that I decided to go without a cold shower cause i didn't feel so great. After dinner about 0100 am I turned down the usual nightly pilgrimage to clubs and bars feeling unusually defeated. Hit the couch just in time to feel a fever jump over me. Was barely able to drag a battered, shaking myself upstairs and under heavy blankets. Couldnt even go search a thermometer. Next morning the bed was a sponge of sweat but i felt strong again. Yes I think THAT was an immune reaction... could use an antibody count just to be sure.
Had the Moderna. Except that my upper arm was pretty sore for a day or two after the first shot, there were no side effects. No symptoms at all from the second shot, which surprised me. I have no plans on going for a booster right now, but that doesn't mean I won't get one sometime down the road.
Some are saying that the variant omicron acts like a vaccine, in that it is reported to have rarely caused severe illness and it causes antibodies to produce. But if I were in feeble health I'd want what's reported to be the extra protection of the booster.
