Also, if we are going to just compare races for a second, white people tend to not age well and whither away, while other races stay youthful for a longer time.

It was about how we evolved in cold climates and needed more technology to survive, so this is why our brains became more wired that way.

Europe (or europeans) were not the only one able to get us in the industrial age. It just happens to be so that one has to be the first and in this case it were the europeans. With other things it were other people from other places, which then we (whiteys ) copied.

But... I don't think he was joking about my Jamaica comment, and neither was I. Climate can be a game changer. Not only do you have a greater need for technology in a cold climate, you also have a lot of time for indoor intellectual pursuits in winter. If nature is giving you everything you want in life, there is little motivation to change anything.

However, this climate-related pattern of behavior emerged in the world after the peak years of Egypt came and went. The dynamics were different before then, and I'm not sure what changed.
