Who can you be nude with?

Honestly it's easiest for me to be nude with strangers, due to the simple fact I will likely never see them again.
As far as people I already know, I cant just go nude with anyone. It would definitely have to be someone who is also into nudism. Off the top of my head I can only think of a couple of people who fit into that category.
It would be nice for my wife and I to have friends that we can share the nudist lifestyle with. Too many times we feel like the odd people out whenever we go to nude resorts or beaches.

 

To me, nudity is a lifestyle...I can and am nude with anyone, including family, friends, and strangers. However, I do cover up if someone finds nudity offensive or is not comfortable with nudity.

I believe in letting others know about my nudist lifestyle, and if I invite someone new to my home, I ask them if they will be OK with my nudity. This way, I avoid an "uncomfortable" situation. In other words, COMMUNICATION and RESPECT of others is key to successful nudism and friendships with others.

I have never been naked with close friends or relatives but have been naked hundreds of times with casual acquaintances (strangers) though because we were hooking up for sex.

 

My wife and I have tried to include some of our friends/couples in our nudism; but only if they are willing to accompany us to our resort. Neither one of us is interested in being naked first around dressed friends; because if they chicken out, it could be an uncomfortable situation. They all declined our invitation; which is not surprising. The realization that they're going to have to be naked in front of us as soon as we're naked in front of them, right after checking in and at a resort, proves too "scary."

We've been lucky enough to make "crossover" friends at out resort. The fact that we were naked when we met makes a huge difference. So when we hang out dressed in the real world, and later transition to hanging out naked at the resort; it's seamless and stress-free.

 

I have with casual acquaintances and complete strangers.

My brother and his hot wife asked me to join them once and I turned them down as I wasn't into being nude back then. If back then I am the way I am now, I think I would have joined them, so you can probably add close friends, including relatives.

 

All the above, if I am going nude it’s for my comfort.

I was caught gardening naked by my female neighbor, she didn’t shriek and run away. We’ve developed a friendship, not physical but she has watched me a few times. Really great for me as she is quite attractive and several years younger.

When I was growing up was nude with brother, dad, and 2 of our friends. Now I have quite a few nudist friends I see regularly pluse my brother

 

I've gotten to the point where I have no hesitation getting naked with a stranger or casual acquaintance. Family and close friends not so.

After reading the responses posted here, I wonder why so many find it difficult, if not impossible, to be naked in front of relatives/family.

When nudity has never been part of the equation while growing up with close relatives, and especially when relatives have expressed negative/sexualized views on nudity; it just feels really risky. The "risk" being alienating said relative. Which I imagine most of us don't want to do.

My ex-wife had a "different" relationship with her Mom. While she was growing up, they frequently saw each other naked while changing, leaving the bathroom door open, etc... So when my ex became a nudist, it was super easy for her to "come out" and just stay nude when her Mom dropped by. It was just an "extension" of something they were both already accustomed to.

 

That’s exactly how I feel about it. I’d rather try and make new friends at a nudist resort, than to try and invite existing friends to go with us and have something not go right.

 

I would have to go with all (A,B&C). After living in Germany I’ve been to saunas with friends and family and to FKK beaches.

 

My wife is just about it, although we are separated so…not really happening anymore.

Literally, that’s just about it unless you count strangers at the locker room or the couple of times I’ve been to a nude resort.
