Who do you get more compliments from

    Only people that know me comment on my dreads. If I've just been introduced then they almost always complement my hair which is nice. I've had a few black guys come up to me and call me Rastamon which is sweet, but they could just be taking the piss haha!

    Yeah, I think that I like it because here in California, I worked at a gas station and it is unbelievable the amount of dumb things people do... they are constantly driving away with the nozzle still in their car, they always spill gas ect... I definitely learned that a lot of people cannot be trusted to pump their own gas. :)

    Yeah, people seem to think that because you have dreads they have the right to just touch your hair... kinda like when you are pregnant people think they have the right to touch your belly.

    defnitely more compliments from black people here when it comes to random strangers... In the southern U.S. though, black people are a bit more open with their opinions and more likely to make a comment to a stranger than white people so I attribute it to that. But its always nice to hear compliments from strangers, because you know they're not obligated to say anything to you.
