No, I am not planning on growing them. My hair when long naturally forms a fucking massive afro (I'm white) which looks exactly like Jimi's hair, or Bob Dylan's and I am very proud of that. Anybody can get dreads. Only the best of us are born with gorgeous manes that turn into gigantic afro's. My curleyness comes from my Irishness.

the first time i locked my hair up i had em in for over three years..... it was around 2004-2007ish.. don't know exact timeline.... moved here, and locked my hair back up for a little while but ended up cutting em in a fit of rage HAHA
