Goldie Hawn gave out an award, too, and was unrecognizable...with so much face plastic surgery..I barely recognized her....
I used to love Meg Ryan, too, but then she started getting surgery and scared me a away a little. I hope Theron doesn't change with too much plastic surgery..She is so beautiful now. :)

I don't like her as an actress, her movies are usually not very good, but her style is simple, and she wears a lot of black, so that's cool.
I certainly don't care much for her as well, nor for any other celeb.

    But yeah....black <3

It's the most disturbing thing about Hollywood for me, so many beautiful women with exotic faces ruined by nose jobs, unique bodys ruined by boob jobs...

I like exotic noses and little titters, please leave them alone girls!

    What made you uncomfortable?

Her performance, or the thought of me with my socks off?

Yea, I was thinking something along the lines of "I don't give a fuck enough that I didn't mention or talk about them once the day they were on"....altho since I'm kinda talking about them now... damn! Blah..

True. At the same time I didn't care about the Oscars... I don't mind them either. I like movies. Sometimes. Haven't seen any in a while but yeah... I agree. (Movie award shows actually "bother" (no award shows bother me really but can't think of a better term)me less than other award shows...
Thing w the Oscars though is... I rarely ever see movies in theaters when they just come out so I usually don't see them in time for the Oscars.

Yeah, she's only 68, thought at the time she was like a decade or so older, hence being impressed. Chers older than that and she's still doing trance videos, so yeah maybe it was little bit hmmmm

That had nothing to do with it. It's just weird to start singing when you're accepting an award.

Matthew McConoghe (spelling) was really really good in Dallas Buyers Club.

Its also a true story about a man diagnosed with HIV in the 80's, was given 30 days to live. The pharmaceutical market was pushing harmful (was? still is) "treatment" drugs. This guy became a black market healer, and lived for like seven years.

It tells a significant story, so the fact it was recognized was pretty cool.

Gravity was cool for the visual effects and definitely was a more creative storyline. But Sandra Bullock was a terrible fit. I could not feel and relate to her conveyance at all, it was totally shallow.

Yeah, the Sandra Bullock casting made me not go see it the first time, but the music seems pretty good, and they won for music.....

She's funny, and likeable. I did not mean that, but I could not imagne taking her too seriously in a movie called Gravity, is all....
