Kirstie A European integrated army has long been a dream of the European project, I mean the European project was about trying to stop the wars that have often plagued Europe through greater union and what better way than having one European army. It has often been discussed but hasn’t really moved beyond that. And as many have pointed out we could have vetoed it. And as some see it there was no need for a European army because we had NATO but a resurgent isolationist US puts that institution under threat.
Kirstie So why is it that so many neoliberals (those in favour of globalist capitalism and the rule of richest elites / private corporations) that wish to bring in a low tax low regulation system with all public services privatised [want Brexit]?
To make clear once again The Supreme Court did NOT kill parliamentary sovereignty it upheld parliamentary sovereignty against an abuse of power by the executive. I do not know why people are reprating this bullshit?
HOW do people see the Brexit politicians as being the anti to a globalist capitalist empire run by a rich elite? I think whichever way we go we're being run by a rich elite.
Drift The question is do you want a US system that absolutely panders to the wealthy elites and institutions or the EU that in many ways push back with things like tax transparency and ant-evasion laws and anti-monopoly laws against big tech and pharma I remember the EU stopping Roaming charges within the EU before that mobile companies were making a killing charging for higher fees for roaming ‘abroad’. But then the companies started selling this as something they had decided on rather than having to do it because of the EU. Now some might say ‘oh yes the EU interference’ but who wanted to pay higher roaming fees?
No, the title is.. who is fed up of Brexit... lol you guys just cant leave it alone.. oh well, gives you something to moan about I guess.. Stands back and looks at all the political posts that should be in the section above!
Bad news is its looking unlikely that it will be sorted out for the 31st October . And so the Saga continues ...........................
LOL if anyone really want an end talk of Brexit the quickest way to end it would be to vote to revoke article 50 ANY other way means Brexit goes on for years, in fact if a deal is made or we come out without one that is when Brexit truly BEGINS. Remember this bit was meant to be the easy bit it was always thought the real Brexit, the hard bit, would come after any withdrawal. Want to continue in Brexit hell – be a leaver
LOL you mean we have parts 2,3,4,5 ........................................... to look forward to Great.!! . Now thinks about when that Virgin flight to the moon is going to be ready .
This is why I feel so sorry for those leavers that shout ‘Get it Done’ without realising the IT they are shouting for now will in fact only be the beginning. I mean they have clearly been gas lighted into think IT is so simple. I heard the other day that some research by pollsters Populus had found that there was a “crucial misunderstanding among many voters, who assume that the ‘deal’ over which MPs are bickering covers not only the terms by which we leave the EU but also the details of our trading relationship after we’ve left”. The way these leavers are being mislead by politicians and the right wing press is criminal
In view of the above extension ,I wonder if Balbus and VG will be exchanging "Happy Brexitmas " cards over the festive season ?
