Chuck Norris model guitar: Chuck Norris' great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great grandfather:
thank you. you guys need to listen to some music. y'know, they've continued to make it since the late 60's
Jimi Hendrix. He did things that can not be duplicated now, 40 years later. He was the originator and he did it with inferior technology by todays standards. He could get many different sounds out of his amp at the same time. He could get different timbre's of notes in the same song. When it comes to Acid Rock, I think Hendrix was #1. He was known as a good live performer. He was voted #1 most innovative artist or #1 artist by Rolling Stone, Billboard and some other similar organization. He was voted best guitarist by all the guitar magazines for 5 years. Hendrix was the star of Woodstock. I find Jimmy Paige repetitious. :cheers2:
Jimi Hendrix for sure. it's not only the fact that he was a gifted artist with great hands and technique, but his persona. when he played he was in a meditative type trance and all of his music came from the moment, he never played the same solo twice and used scales that haven't been defined. he was really just the most fluent with the guitar and could impress you in various styles.
