i remember playing with a steel tonka truck when i was a kid. it was all rusted and bent up. i was pushing it as fast as i could and bammm! i hit a crack in the pavement launched over the tonka truck and managed to slide 5 ft on nothing but the bottom of my chin. still got the scar. haha. i remember playing in playgrounds with nothing but metal monkey bars, mary gorounds, teeter totters, and those playscape things. and we didnt have mulch, it was pavement, if we were lucky there was gravel. somebody got hurt everyday. it was great. you had to learn to take care of yourself. not oops i bumped my head but its ok because everything is rubber. when i bumped my head whamm, i went down on the ground with tunnel vision and had a lump on my head. then i thought i aught to pay more attention. anyways i miss stealing my moms tapes and taping over them with crappy radio shows. ahaha
I loved the comment from "Skoolie" about your dad. It brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful memory. Thank you for sharing it!!!
