I'm not sure how complaining about people getting banned or whining about reps "haults" the process of free speech. They're issues that are being discussed by those who want to discuss them. There are thousands of members here, only a handful are pre-occuying themselves with this. I would hardly consider this grinding free speech down to a "hault". In fact, that such things are or are not permitted is an excellent indicator of the true climate of this forum. The sad thing is, this forum is made to generate money for the owner, who apparently then uses the money to finance his drug habit, move to The Netherlands to avoid paying taxes, and travel around Europe. In order to ensure that his revenue continues to flow, he's going to quell free speech, because to permit free speech would mean that people would engage in serious debate. And people who engage in serious debate are usually less likely to be stupid enough to click on a banner and support the dictator running the site. As much as you want to believe that this place is all about Hippies getting together in a peaceful environment to commune with one another, it's all about money. This Skip guy is very much a Capitalist, and that stinks. How's that for a serious debate???

No, it's about being able to eliminate people who want to excercise their right to free speech, and also to eliminate people that the moderators, people who kiss ass with the moderators, or the webmaster arbitrarily don't like because they disagree with their opinions.

This is very much like the Soviet Union under Stalin. Eliminate anyone who is a perceived threat to the totalitarian system, and eliminate anyone complains about people being eliminated.
