I like the island and I've been there several times because I have some friends living in Fanny Bay; quite close to Courtenay.
Damn, I wish I could be there right now...
Btw I like this store called Uranus!

Greetings from Germany! Be proud of living on Van. Island!

In Victoria, there's Spiral Cafe on Craigflower Road. It's got live music on weekends and it's a cool little place.

They still have that place.... the Green Cuisine in Vic? They had the best veggie and vegan food by the pound.

I love Van Island! We left the streets of Vancouver years ago when we found out that my wife was preggers. Ended up looking for a place to settle. We decided either the Sunshine Coast or Van Island. We ended up having our son in Nanaimo. Then we moved out here so he could be near grandparents.

I really love the Gulf Islands. Last time we were in Courtney was before the kid was born, we squatted in the abandoned house by Mc D's. I have stayed under that bridge in town a many a nights. We really like that place and almost stayed there to settle. (not the bridge...lol)

If I were to go back to live.... I would probally go to Denman or the southern tip area past Sooke :)

Yeah the green cuisine is still there, but the lotus pond at two thirty is even better and cheaper.

    Victoria, born and raised.
Now I live in Toronto and I'm aching for the salty breeze!
Once I get my BFA, I'm hitting the coast...

I'd love to live on Hornby Island, its so beautiful up there.

I miss Lotus Pond and Green Cuisine food so much.
