Who's ready for summer?

I am excited for summer!

I am travelling to Japan in July. I pray I can achieve my dream to visit Hashima Island, also a wonderful opportunity for new photographs, of course.

 

Not yet....

 

Summer makes me paranoid.

I'm moving to Scandinavia.

 

Personally I prefer the sun over baseball in summertime.

 

I'm ready for winter.

 

winter and summer are basically the same thing to me, less time spent outside. Less time spent outside makes me grumpy.

Last summer was cooler and a hell of a lot wetter than usual and it was absolutely glorious, but usually its too hot and humid here to do anything besides soak in a body of water.

I'm super stoked about spring though. Its a very short and precious window of time to me.

 

I'm not because I haven't even been able to experience winter and it is my favorite season. This was going to be the winter that I finally got really good at telemark skiing, and there is no fucking snow here.

But I guess I am excited about this summer because I will get to do some mountaineering and climb Mt. Baker in August.

 

I like winter weather as much as summer weather. However, since no one else that I know enjoys winter weather, I'm ready and waiting for summer because I'll have someone to do outdoor stuff with.

 

i'm never ready for summer, but i'm always ready for spring and fall.

I have been talking to a buddy and we are thinking of doing Mt Hood this year, probably around August to..

Yes. You sure will. So prepare yourself for it now. Once it hits about 85 I start to melt and start bitching about how hot it is. I never look forward to winter though. Not even on the hottest of hot days do I wish for snow.

 

Come to Aus and live a real scorching summer and then go back home with skin cancer.

85 is my absolute favorite temperature! 85 and sunny. My window of comfort is between 80-90 degrees f. ^_^
