    yay! im not the only one that likes peter max! :D dali is another favorite, and i dont know what this guys name is, but he does "the blue dog" paintings. and joni mitchell is a paiter too!

    PETER MAX???? ahh i love the stuf he did...funny way how i learned who he was...i was in the dentist office freaking out as usually because i never know if i got a cavity or not and i read a highlights thing on him...after reading that, the chinnesse dentist came to me a said "nope your good" no cavites for me!!! i lvoe him. i love him!

    Tom Thomson and the other 6 (haha) did amazing things in the world of layering and light, Alberto Giacometti redefined sculpture and the way of looking at the human forum. Cezanne was way ahead of his time in terms of perspective.

    i'm another little fan of Peter Max.

    also, i love Grayson Perry. he has a column in Times2 (daily supplement from the Times) on a... Wednesday i think. he's also a straight transvestite... i love him (and also *ahem*, Claire!)

    Andy Goldsworthy far and away. I visited my best friend in Des Moines last weekend and we went to the permanent exhibit he has there and the energy around his egg was fucking amazing.

    I like matisse alot too. and Mark Henson, and Alex Gray, and on and on.

    i like pablo picasso cuz he never did what people thought he was gonna do and therefore he wasn't a sellout plus he spanned diverse images with different mediums
