To dangermoose- a pizza place around here has over twenty subs, ten sandwiches, wings, strombolies, calzones, lots of different types of pizza, about 10 different kinds of pasta, chili, soup, 5 or 6 types of salads, fried zucchini, fried mushrooms, fries, cheese fries, garlic bread, shrimp jammers, fried shrimp, fried clam strips, and other appetizers and more....

 

I still don't understand why she hung up

 

because she is impatient.

 

Oh well, guess it was her loss. She's the one that stayed hungry.

I'm always nice to people making my food too- not so much as a precaution but because they deserve it.

seriously, if you never worked in the food industry, you dont know what kind of crap those people go through........ there are some though, that do need a severe slap on the head.

 

actually, there was no food in my house...nothing to make a vegetarian meal, at least...and the only grocery store in town closed before I decided on what I was going to eat.

I didn't even have any rice and beans to make rice and beans!

 

I wasn't acting snobby...I just couldn't figure out why she couldn't list the specials like every other time I've called there. They don't have that many specials that she couldn't name them off...at least, they never have before.

I didn't have any food in the cupboards or fridgerator for me to eat.

Hey, here's an idea for you, why don't you stop acting like a snob? Do you really hold grudges for that long?

P.S. and actually I do tip...you act like I'm a fucking idiot. In fact, if they do a really good job, I always tip over 15%.

 

I used to work at Pizza Hut answering the phones, and when someone asked what the specials were, we told them. Simple as that.

And I probably would have been happy if someone hung up on me because that would be the end of it, so why get mad at Annie? Maybe the person was happy she hung up. Especially late at night because everyone's getting ready to get out of there.

 

It was just irritating.

If people don't want to do their job they should just quit and give me the job. Because there are people out there that actually WANT to work and can't find a job because you have a bunch of people in the work force who don't want to do anything.

Sounds about right. Mostly in that DA just didnt wanna deal with any thing complicated that evening, wathever, happens to al lfolks. Here, if a pizza place has specials its eiterh coupons from the phonebook or their webpage, or weekly specials which are listed in their phonebook ad, or regular speicals (like two fors) which are also listed in tehir phoneobok ad. So you really dont need to ask about them unless you cant read, but thats here not there.
