If you are insinuating that I will swallow your cum, you could just forget it. And zoomie or zombie, did you just call me fat? I am a vegan, therefore I am not fat. I thought this thread was about anti-hippies and such. So no more sexual advances unless they are going to help the Earth in some way or save our dying animals.
Did I mention your name? Did I speak to you? A little self-conscious much? If I want you, I'll call upon you.
POPCORN IS READY!!! What fun!!! Vegans can't be fat?? Jesus is offensive?? The word "man" is offensive?? An emoticon is a sexual advance?? BJs are offensive?? Swallowing is offensive?? Oh my fucking god!!!! A skinny, vegan, easily offended, bouncing boobie, sexually repressed freaking hippie. I hate those types!!! Zen
Great, now you're hitting on me and trying to ask me out on a date to eat some popcorn (and not even organic popcorn) Your post clearly screams that you want to have sex with me, but I will have to say NO. I am saving myself for Mother Earth, for Earth will be the only popper of my cherry.
I used to really respect the majority of hippies and I even aspired to be one myself until I came across this website several years ago. What I discovered is a subculture that can be as militant and close minded as some of the groups it professes to stand against. I think this is only a fraction or a segment of the hippie community but personally I find the most generally open minded and tolerant people to be those that don't desire to be a part of some sort of movement or "label". That is my 2 pence.
Uhm yeah, pretty logical. Wouldn't make a lot of sense to me if someone thought otherwise too be honest. Although... I have encountered many people that label themselves labelless, it's almost a stereotype
Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I suppose at the end of the day the people I like best are the ones who don't take themselves too seriously, whether they are hippies, satanists, stoners, people without labels etc.
Indeed, every subculture/scene has fun and interesting people. It's just when they seriously start whoring their scene flag which make people outside that scene annoyed and perhaps 'anti'. Even some people who look like a caricature of their scene can be just fine if they just doesn't take it too seriously. You're generally not a douchebag because you're part of a certain scene, but because you're walking around saying "I am a ...."
hippies tend towards pretentious douchebags who think that they know more than they do because they have commandeered the ideas of people they perceive to be more intelligent than they are, but are typically just as lost as they are, simply with more conviction.
I agree, if I can't stand one thing of hippies it's their general I'm better than you attitude, that in the same way a lot of vegetarians have as well. Also, lots of hippies may have the 'right' mindset but only talk about it. Which has led me to the believe that some of the most hypocritical people on this planet are hippies.
All this maybe true, but I find you don't win people over to your point of view by saying that "hippies are like this" and "hippies are like that". I know that is rich coming from somebody who hates old people, dogs, moderators, politicians, christians, emos, women and the rich but it is true.
oh, I do not think all hippies are a single way (except that they are all hippies, which does give them many stereotypical traits in common) but, an aggregate of hippies who piss me off, have TENDED to be for the aforementioned reason, and I believe that the correlation is caused by the stereotypical traits in common more than anything.
Well, who doesnt say crap about at least one group to make themsleves feel better that the the group they chose was the right one. I tend to like hippies, but this recycling thing is a laugh, make sure you put those 100 bottles of water you buy a year into the right bins to help mother earth
If you were from S.A. you would be saying "make sure you save as many bottles as possible so that you can cash them in for money to buy more bottles of water"
