Why are the forums purple?

    its way too girly. if i have friends over or something im afraid they will think i am on a gay site or a really girly site or something.

    im going to create a poll in the site support forum and see what happens. go vote for change the colors.

    i would wear a purple shirt, but that has nothing to do with staring at it for extended periods of time.

    i'd call it more of a mauve, or maybe lilac :)

    Light blue with white text would be the most pleasing to my eyes.
    Then again the few times Ive visited the site on LSD I was like "damn, I dont know if Im feeling this colour" at first, but after a moment of serious deep soul searching, I was like "oooooh! NOW I GET IT!!!!!!"

    I really like the colour. It's soothing. I wouldn't change it.

    Looks almost puce to me. I'm pretty sure that it has been this colour for the entirety that I've been a member.

    Yes change is good. But for the average person it is a very uncomfortable thing.

    Why go through all that effort when things are fine now? That might be to much trouble.

    They rarely think of the positive exciting things that can happen because of change.

    No most people do not like change. It is just like that.

    I like this place in spite of the purple.:)
