Why can't people own up to being angry?

    There is nothing wrong with anger or being angry but society looks down upon people who express thier anger therefore people tend to use other forms. They find it more accepted to say they are dissapointed ect than if they said they were angry. Crazy how we let certain things influence us and how later something else will happen making us want to change yet again.

    I think its called the flock and the sheep.

    maybe the're just not in the mood for getting beaten over the head and have gotten kind of used to the idea of saying that they were might be considered by some as an invitation to do so?

    i make no secred of my anger when i feel that doing so is more likely to do good then harm. reallity level is though, that there's too much aggressiveness in this world as it is, and it IS doing more harm then good.

    anger hides more specific emotions in most cases.
