Jesus works great from his back and his top game is top notch, the only thing holding him back is that he only trains with a Gi. All of his fancy collar chokes and sweet sweeps will be nullified when he steps into the octagon to face Jon Jones next summer.

In order to win the title he needs to stay on the outside and pepper Jones with punches and leg kicks, when he sees the opening then he should shoot in. It will take a miracle but where there is a will there is a way.

He beat alot of tough guys to become the number 1 contender so I wouldn't say he is being "sacrificed" to Jon Jones it should be a technical bout but I would Put my money on Bones via savage TKO in the 3rd.

Stop thinking, start believing. Jesus was killed so that you could live. Drink his blood and eat his body. Why not add a bit of garlic.

Why not garlic? Because that would exclude repentant vampires from partaking of communion!

    Puggybear,

I suppose it is possible that God didn't sacrifice his son, and that he simply brought him home because the job was done. But I would imagine that Jesus will give serious thought to taking a bus home the next time, no matter how many holdovers!! :)

and you do it so well.
Unlike you, even though they can, most authors don't.
    Spoken like a true egocentric.

    OWB,

You said: "Of course I'm measuring according to what the living think about it, because the dead are dead and they have no opinion about anything, they don't think, feel or regret anything, they are dead."

So, we are in agreement that the consequence of dying as an unbeliever is of no consequence to the one who has died?

Its so sad how God , whos all about love and kindness and charity , forgivness....how the topic has caused so much meaness and fighting and such.....all the hatred and bloodshed down through the ages , and spilling into now....im sure hes rolling his eyes at us while we use his name for an excuse to be horrible to each other.

    erzebet,

It is for hearts and minds that this discussion is taking place. Would you rather that children were subject to blasphemous ideas about God without a challenge from others? Ideas which depict God as one who is satisfied by blood and torture in payment for a debt certainly need to be challenged!

It certainly portrays god as duplicitous, giving life on one hand and asking that it be paid for, after the fact, on the other.

This perspective has turned gods gift of abundant life in every direction, into a den of robbers and thieves. We all have legitimate claim to the resources of this earth for example, yet we are charged and barred for the privilege of being. The proprietary model is antithetical to abundant life. Our true dilemma has never been over good and evil, but between god and mammon.

Of Course , no one learns without debate and discussion , I was just taking note on how this subject can rouse such reactions and passions to the point of becoming nasty .

Nastiness is nothing more than a call for love.

    1. Possibly.

    2. Are you most authors? How do you know? Do you believe everything you read? And what about fiction? Yes.. most fictional stories are based on the authors real life experiences blah, blah, blah.. but they bullshit to make stories interesting so they can make a living. Even reporters chat bollocks, and they're meant to be telling the truth!

    3. Takes one to know one.. and I like my ego, I wouldn't be having much fun without it.. but I still know when to go "Oh right, I'm wrong." But just because something's wrong doesn't mean you have to stop believing in it... that's the beauty of religion, so I recommend taking a large pill containing a lot of chill.

Faith is a fallacy, not just Christianity.. but Hinduism, Islam, forms of Buddhism, etc.. It coats the world in cotton wool so it's not as big and scary. Even science is a load of shit.. it's a lame abstraction of the world we live in and doesn't explain a whole hell of a lot - it's just given us some fancy new toys and made us think we're all so clever.
