Regarding whether I understood the conversation around scales and weights.

    One example, there are others.

And the following was just one of two points I was making in the same post:

OWB quote: "I believe the fact that they cannot personally experience the consequence, is in itself a consequence."

But then, them not experiencing the consequence is not a consequence to them! Therefore, the death of the non-believer is of no consequence to the non-believer who has died!

    Do you agree?

    I already answered this:

No, he created us to be creatively imaginative. According to my beliefs and the teaching of the holy spirit, we imagine something that is not so.

You saying so does not make it so. I have already answered this "loss for loss" idea you have and you have not come up with an answer for it.

Again, so you say but so far the only thing challenged has been my patience.

    OWB,

Yes, and my answer to that was that there is no evidence found in the Bible to back your position that sometimes God chooses to not foresee. Do you agree?

If you are just going to repeat your questions with even addressing the answers that have already been given then there is no point in continuing this discussion.

It is my patience that is being challenged. For the life of me, I cannot get you to agree that dead people don't experience consequences for being a dead non-believer.

Nor can I get you to tell me the source of your idea that sometimes God chooses to not foresee.

So God created us to imagine what is not so? Why did he do that? Why didn't he just create us to imagine what is so?

OWB quote: "If you believe that not knowing about the consequences of your actions means that your actions have no consequences, then there are no consequences to the dead for their actions."

Yes, that is what I believe. Do you believe it, too?

There is no direct statement to that effect, if that is what you mean.

Yes, that is what I mean--that there is nothing to back up your assumption, and yet you espouse it!

As I said, I have years of discussion and debate to back up my assumption.

What do you have to back up anything you've said?

We were created to imagine things that are not yet so, that they may become so. The thought always comes first. Creation, creating something from nothing. God and his children can create only good but they can imagine otherwise.
