Our cultures are obviously very similar, I know exactly what you are saying, something they obviously do not
Woah man, I thought all that just happened over here! Respect to anyone else who has to put up with that kind of crap on a daily basis. It can be such a fucking nightmare sometimes!!
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha Uh, yes, you did. There are as many ways of drinking as there are people who drink. It isn't alcohol's fault that you seem to live in a city populated by assholes, and it isn't alcohol's fault that those people choose to act like assholes.
I'm from Cardiff in Wales man, very similar cities. It's got a huge student population, and surrounding the centre much like England's capital a lot of very poor council estate areas- as well as the infamous valleys.
Uh, no, I didn't So you're saying that if these people were not drunk that this crap would still be going on every day?
http://motherwarriors.blogspot.com/2008/04/binge-drinking-in-europe.html Wish I could find something proper, but i'm tired and it's quite specific and fidgety.
So you didn't intentionally and just have a poor understanding of phrasing. OK. I'm saying that alcohol doesn't cause people to act like jerks, it just allows people to be more honest with their intentions and who they are. The people you encounter on the street sound like pretty angry people, are you surprised they act it while drunk? Alcohol has nothing to do with these people's personalities other than allowing them to express it more freely. Saying that their general attitude and actions are alcohol's fault is like saying a symptom is a disease. So, either they'd repress it, which is just as equally unhealthy in the long-run, or just take it out on someone they would feel more comfortable harassing.
You know calling liquor stores "package stores" is really popular in Connecticut, and one other state I think, but apparently absolutely nowhere else. We went to New York once to buy a bottle on a Sunday, couldn't find the liquor store we were looking for, so I walk into this gas station and go "yo, chief, where's the nearest package store" and he was like "the heck are you talking about" and I was like "nearest package store, where is it" and he said "sorry man I don't know" and as I was walking out he goes "Ohhhhhh, liquor store you meant, go like further up the road just 2 more blocks" But anyways, I've been drinking thread, what's up
I was associating anti-social behavior with alcohol, and social behavior with common illegal drugs. It doesn't get more simple than that. You just saw what you wanted to see. You watch too much Dr Phil. Why don't you go drink a shoulder of vodka and tell me if you feel more like yourself.
