he is the natural price of a culture that romantacizes and rewards agressiveness. this does not in any way however excuse him, and more then it does any other terrorist.
and yes, why does anyone STILL think he's some kind of angel on a white horse?

I have an aunt that admits she voted for Trump, and she doesn't seem to regret it (although I can tell she is beginning to get somewhat defensive about her vote.) She isn't what you would expect your "typical" Trump voter to be like either, if there is such a thing. She isn't racist, not particularly patriotic, has mercy for undocumented immigrants and is educated. She was my 2nd grade teacher in fact.

She is, however, a church going Catholic. Trump says he is pro-life, which I of course don't believe for a minute. If he thought his best chance of winning the White House was to be pro-choice then he would have claimed to be pro-choice. My aunt doesn't think with her brain as much as she does her heart. She hasn't admitted it, but I think in her heart of hearts she thinks that supporting Trump means that little babies won't be murdered. And I do not know what to tell her.

why would anyone rather be robbed then be considerate of each other?
could it be because they worship a 'goodness' that wishes to be feared, which is an absolute self contradiction?

there's nothing to stop there being billions of big friendly invisible minds, that are neither physical nor imaginary, but goodness and the desire to be feared, are still absolute binary opposites.

the simple minded do not understand this, because it is the only way they are allowed to turn for their next meal and a place they won't get in trouble for spending the night.
his 'support' came from the indoctrinated homeless through no choice of their own,
and people less disadvantaged, who thought they could gain something by having the priorities of organized crime in charge.

the did not want hillary because she did not speak the same harsh language they wanted to believe would bennifit them,
knowing full well even if it did, it would be at the expense of everyone else.

needless to say, the latter got what they deserved.

america has been a rogue state for a lot longer then trump.
he is a culmination of an all too common attitude, that has become 'normalized' over many decades. and thus too has 'earned' him.

but this is only humans, and only some humans.
other countries, other cultures, other species, nothing deserves what the perspective that brought him to us, has inflicted upon itself.

healing ourselves begins with removing the infection he represents.

there but for the grace of poverty i could have ended up like epperson.
for all the times i've slept out in the rain, for all the times i didn't know where my next meal would come from, i am still thankful i did not.

not that i could ever have been comfortable treating other people the way these two did, to enjoy their advantages on the backs of,
however much i might have wished for my own private kingdom on an island to call my own.

one died in prison because he knew too much, enough to damage the other, who was put in place by interests who had no difficulty to reach inside a prison system they controlled.
who lent him the collateral no one else would, but still kept an eye on it by partnering in every real estate investment he owned.

a classic image that shall survive in infamy, lest we ever forget.

People wanted to make George Washington king, and he turned them down to become the most popular president in history, while Donald Duck acts like he was born king and is a loose cannon on deck threatening to sink the ship of state. He could not be a worse president if he tried, and its debatable how long he would survive if we made him king. The man is a loudmouthed coward with all the personal integrity of a used car salesman, that even the Pentagon is considering assassinating for the good of the country. Only complete idiots believe a fucking word that comes out of his mouth.

Republicans have never been known for their brains, but electing mindless animals is a new one. If he were dog, they would have taken to the pound to be put down long ago for biting the hands that feed him.

So, a typical politician then lol?
And yet more people lately feel that they want to get more into politics.. just because basically Trumps not the regular run of the mill politician, just because of sticks and stones may break such bones.

If committing treason, destroying the economy, and attempting to fire the entire judicial branch and congress were a typical politician, civilization would be impossible.

USA still remains very wealthy compared to other countries.
Trump is upholding USA's gun laws (right to have guns or some bollocks).
Treason though, how exactly? I'm British so apologies for any unintentional perceived ignorance, love you yanks forever and always :kissingheart:

The US has fewer gun laws than most third world countries and more gun dealers than gas stations, and you can even buy them out of the trunk of someone's car. The only way our gun laws could be more liberal was if a child could buy one at 7/11. As for treason, I'm waiting to hear the juicy details myself, because the bastard has yet to be tried, and its debatable whether congress will even let the public know. Its not like our votes or constitution matter anymore.

However, asking foreign governments to supply evidence against our politicians for the purpose of winning an election, is known as treason. How would you like the Queen of England to ask the NSA to spy on your politicians so she can determine the outcome of your elections? Either elections are fair or they are not, and our elections are already rigged. With any luck, Donald Duck will either start the next civil war or run the republican party into the dirt before they destroy the country, and we can get our votes and constitution back.

Republicans talk smack all the time, but most them don't have the stomach for civil war, and Americans are very particular about punishing those who attempt to destroy our union, for about a century. I can see the southern states getting another lesson in how to share your words and play nice, or pay the price.

its not about how anyone feels about him, its that the only thing he demonstrates any consistent interest in is trying to see how much he can get away with destroying.
i could give a shit less about him as a person, what concerns me, and ought to concern everyone, whatever their ideologies or beliefs, is the kind of world we all have to live in.

That is just beginning to change, as the more high tech oriented and educated among us come to the realization that everything, including their jobs, is all about to be automated. We needed a theory of everything half a century ago, and Donald Duck's election can be considered merely the pot of water coming to a boil and about to transform into steam. AI is about to make all our current economics, politics, and technology obsolete, and the next scientific revolution has already begun without a theory of everything. They are slowly coming to the realization that energy can be whatever you want it to be, along with time, and neither has any demonstrable meaning outside of the context of thermodynamics.

That doesn't mean free energy is possible, but that you can move energy around at will in a wide variety of ways and use it to substitute for mass, geometry, or spacetime. Energy can teleport from one location to another on quantum scales, and we are only now beginning to master moving it from point A to B on macroscopic scales. Technically, energy can be moved around in adiabatic systems only, which lose energy over time, but such a system could be designed to heat and cool your entire house for free, for centuries or longer.
