Why Do Punks Hate Hippys

but anarchy is based on peace.. and freedom.. I think it's similar.

 

yeah, they're are both for a revolution, but completely different causes. the whole peace & anarchy thing.

I am both and I say that because I am called both by many mostly all....anyway

i say who gives a shit about cliques. listen to what ya want and be friends with whoever acceppts ya. punks hating hippies and hippies hating punks reminds me of highschool cliques. everyone outta grow up.

real punks are cool and they don't necesarily hate hippies....it's just that sometimes we have opposing views on things.....lots of original punks were about anarchy and hippies are about peace besides all of these stupid cliques are just ways for people to descriminate even more.....you are what you are.......

 

I love punks. I was in class with one and she loved the fact that I was a hippie and accepted that I was one....

 

I guess,if I had to label myself,I would fall into both punk and hippie. I like both scenes,both types of music...and I see many similarities.
We're all fighting for a cause,just because we go about it in different ways,doesn't mean either side wins or loses.

 

i'm sure no one in this thread is fighting for anything.
