I'm speaking in a broader sense. I doubt it's interesting to others, though. The sorts of insecurities and defense mechanisms that cause people to act the way they do. It is extremely varied. It's interesting to me how a person can act a certain way, stand accused, and remain totally innocent.
I am interested. Some people try to explain and it just comes out all wrong. This happens a lot with people with autism spectrum, most especially those with Aspergers, they cannot read people's expressions, so. are often, very defensive. There is an excellent little film about this. I just cannot recall the title just now. Have you personally experienced misunderstanding?
Here's one for you Candy: Say this (or almost any) sentence and put the emphasis on every different word and see how subtly the sentence changes. "are you going to the store today." (Hope I not out of line here-------) Kind of an amazing language we have here.

It seems to have more to do with vowel sounds than anything else. "ah" then "e" or "o". And I think if the converse were true we'd all be completely insane, oddly enough.
