Why do you all need sig pics so friggin big?

Seriously, why do you all need sig pics so flippin big.

Yes, I know I can disable them, that still doesnt satisfy my curiousity about why people put sig pics in that fill up half my monitor with stuff that has nothing to do with anything.

The other day I saw a guy that had a sig pic of a tree, it would have been about 700 pixels high, wasnt even a terribly interesting tree, looked like just about every tree does. In my head I was like "dude, its a tree?!, If I turn my head to the left I can see several ones outside my window, and far more interesting ones at that"

 

uuuhh.. because they can? i just assume people don't know how to resize their pics.. maybe you should do that service for them.

 

I feel the same way, VG. I don't mind (or care about) most peoples sig.
But the huge ones really do drive me mad.
Not just the wide ones but the ones that take up half the page, like oldhippie.

SOME PEOPLE JUST DON'T GIVE A ....
That or their ego is as big as their sig pic.

 

I prefer the ones the change often...and little ones...and semi-funny ones

 

I don't mind the big sig pics, they don't bother me much... I would probably disable the feature if it did..

I don't have a sig, but I prefer it that way..

I resized mine a buncha times (scanner makes pics huge for some reason) and finally got fed up and left it. Honestly, I still get a pang of self-consciousness every time I see it, but haven't had the motivation. Maybe this will convince me to get off my ass and fix it... Maybe :toetap05:
