Don't worry, Hamas is relatively harmless and their homemade rockets are just a pathetic attempt to fight back with what they have at their disposal. The Zionists are settling on the Palestinian people's land and there's no intention to stop doing that. Israel needs an occasional fight going on in order to legitimize what they are doing.

As we are seeing now, it's paying dividends to the Zionist plans as people align themselves with them. This is what is so puzzling about the whole thing, it's so obvious that the Palestinian people are only fighting to gain what has been granted to them by the UN and is rightfully theirs.

Where's the confusion? Which side is slaughtering people on the other side?

I also noted that you attempted to separate Hamas from the Palestinian people. Are you not aware that Hamas has been duly elected by the Palestinian people? Do you think they wouldn't elect them again because they are fighting on the people's behalf?

Those are inconvenient truths which will have to be ignored by most people. The real question is, why do they ignore the truth? That's where this religious indoctrination or conditioning to respond negatively to the words 'terrorism' or 'terrorism' comes in.

Perhaps is we could reprogram them to think of Hamas as 'freedom fighters' it could change the whole narrative? IMO, in any sane person's mind that's what they really are.

Israel could have peace in a minute if they did the right thing but that entails honouring UN agreements on how the land is divided up.

I used the term 'Zionist' with good reason. They can't be called Jews even though most of them are Jews. And they can't be called Israelis because they don't represent Israel.

But I'm afraid that you're not demonstrating yet that you are good with concepts. Would you like to try and answer my questions as to the reason why people are not seeing the simple fact that the Zionists are not the side of good and right?

 

What do you want me to demonstrate? I demonstrate that Israel should not have gone into Palestine with their bombs...period......If that is not specific enough for you, then what can I say.

I asked you to try to explain why most people are still siding with the Zionists when it's so crystal clear that they are on the side of wrong and are the aggressors. They always have been in that it was they who displaced the Palestinian people.

This is not my disagreement with you, it's my questions to you. You could perhaps start by saying whether or not you are a Christian believer and that would at least partially answer my question on whether religious indoctrination has anything to do with it? Or if you believe there is such a thing as childhood Christian indoctrination.

Fwiw, I do and I consider it a form of child abuse, but of a sort that continues throughout adult life for most people.

Well, that's a start! I'll wait for something more to which I can respond. However it does open some doors to me understanding you because it's not the norm for Americans and I must say, it does seem to be a prerequisite to having an understanding of the situation with Israel/the Palestinian people. That could be a big clue as to whether or not Christian indoctrination has anything to do with opinions.

It seems to be similar in Canada but to a somewhat lesser degree, as we are not as religiously involved as Americans are. And I will hazard a guess that religious believers appear to be more rightist than non-believers.

I'll leave it up to you to take this discussion further now.

The jots and tittles of the many various paradigms humans choose to utilize/believe really is of little consequence in regards to my comments.
When confronted with evidence that calls one's paradigm into question, if this evidence meets the criteria across many differing world views and paradigms, in this instance historical authentication of documents and archeology, then to continue to refuse to reconsider and possibly "re-adjust" one's personal paradigm, then that individual is willfully choosing to remain in ignorance.


It is in that black area of the circle chart where all the different paradigms overlap that truth resides.

It was prophesied numerous times throughout that the Jewish people were chosen and unique, yet would be considered the shit-stain on the boots of the rest of the world, forever persecuted and chased from place to place, the target of extermination attempts, to the point of prophesies stating that even their name would be a "byword" or insult.

Further prophesy state that at some point they would return to that area of the world after having been exiled and scattered for thousands of years and be reborn as a nation.

Uhmm, I don't know what history books you've read, or have been taught, but according to all I've read, secular and religious, every damn one of those prophecies relating the Hebrews/Jews has so far happened.

In actual fact, none of those prophesies have been fulfilled. Instead of the Jews being persecuted and chased from one place to another, they have become the evil aggressor and apartheid nation that chases and persecutes others. I don't see anything in the stars that says that's about to change soon.

And so the real facts are, the Jews have attempted to live up to the prophesies because that's to their benefit. What other people would get away with the murder they perpetrate against others and still get the blessing of the majority of the Western world?

Don't try to make out that you don't take sides. It's more untrue for you now from what you have said than it is for any other person on this forum who has voiced an opinion. Very familiar tactic!
