What? That doesn't make any sense. Anyway, we don't want your preaching, this question does not apply to those who are religious. There is a Christian board on here and you're more than welcome to post in RT as well, but this thread in particular does not apply to you.
“We are the universe made conscious, trying to understand itself” Delenn of the Mimbari (Babylon-5) Hotwater
Sounds very plausible. The question is,is it tending towards consciousness as order or disorder? I think its two opposing forces, constantly giving new creations.
LOL,I've questioned a variety of laws before now... Inc those of my physics teacher... who looked like a human chicken... One of my friends used to be some mega-scientist.He keeps telling me all this stuff about special types of energy that are kept under lock and key.. I suppose knowledge is a dangerous thing - in science, religion, maybe *anything*...
Special types of energy What’s with some of these former mega-scientists who have turned their back on traditional science for pseudo-science, like newton delving into alchemy and astrology, einstein with his grand unified field theory, and richard feynman from quantum electrodynamics to joining some cult in northern california Hotwater
i don't believe, because i don't believe its the truth. believe. christmas eve. believe Adam and eve. eve. something up the bibles sleeve. pet peeve. religion is common knowledge set in every culture differently. retrieve. believe. naive.
With him, it was a regular branch of science.Altho he's well into para-science and stuff. But it was drugs and stresses that caused him to move away from the sci-genius stuff. As for special energy, I think the main concern is that we fuck around too much with what we already have.It probably wouldn't be healthy for someone to build a nuclear level device with say 100 000 USD. So maybe not so much a conspiracy theory, more common sense. BTW Tesla nearly 100 yrs ago was an example of someone with some interesting stuff - who was politely told to keep shut... Either way, in science and "para-science", I think the world is much more complex than we tend to think.I find that sort of reassuring in a way.. Maybe there's room for different"realities" as part of a "greater reality"
i don`t believe in the main idea that has been established through the years and years of religion about God and what God is and what God has made and what God has said and what God has drank and what God has sited . I believe there is a continual awareness-like the stones that has survived milenia after milenia after milenia. I believe in the fucking stones!
Yeah Earth energy and ley-lines with stones is interesting stuff. Plus Pagan religions are good. From the orgies and nakedness point of view anyway... Its interesting that Eastern religions think we should explore Earth and life energies etc.But the Vatican is currently adamant we'd just end up invoking dark forces. Then we have Christian followers who try and tell us that sort of stuff doesn't exist. Hmmm...
before we were christianised we were pagans here. We believed in Tangra (in other places called Tengri) .
Its a shame how so many Pagan skills were eradicated.I wonder how they could have been used today? Plus the Christian Church was very anti-science for the 1st 1800 years or so. They didn't even want the bible translated to English, because it would give people the power to think for themselves..
i`ve heard a huge part of the Bible has been destroyed in the time of Constantine the Great. And that part was referring about the reincarnations. don`t know more than this about it. but main idea is that the church has fucked up the Christianity and robbed it from it`s original teachings and meaning just so it can control and manipulate the people. In the end it all comes to power over the masses
Tis true Greengirl, it has been speculated that at least 17 books have been removed from the christian bible.
Yes I've heard that for the 1st 500 years, Reincarnation was an accepted part of the Church's teachings. Some of the Church was about power. Some of it was about fear. I don't think there's anything fantastical about the mind and spirit existing outside of the body. But perhaps if people saw that with their own eyes, the Catholic Church argues they would be vunerable to the forces of Evil. If someone could learn telepathy or speak with the dead etc, they might not see any use for a Church telling them what to do.
