Why i dont believe in JesusDiedforU

I knew a guy from LA who was fucked up on meth real bad. He talked the same way. Everything was a bible verse. He really believed he was living in biblical times. One time, when I told him he ought to get some help, he told me that I was the leader of the lake of fire...whatever the hell that means.

Kind of sad, though. I don't know whatever happened to him.

Hmm can just a allegorical book predict future events before they happen....


Hmmm can you see inside the hearts of people.... No only God can .... No Christians are not perfect.... infact many people who claim to be christians are not even christians Jesus said "many worship me with their lips but their hearts are far from me"

Their heart, yes, but that is not done by repeating verses from the King James version of the bible over and over again!


Let me repeat, i think you may be a good person, and have good intentions, but why not let a little more of the love into your heart, and a bit less of the militant bible quoting...think about what the words mean, but use them in your own life, don't just repeat them, think about what the meaning is behind them.......

Are they really predictions, or just murky phrases that can be read as prophecies. what about Nostradomous, he certainly had more prophecies come close than the bible does, but same thing, they can be interpreted many different ways.

please start using the bible to learn from, as its meant to be, not as a weapon against others, and not as the literal truth...its not even supposed to be literal.....its supposed to teach you.

-I am not here to condemn sinners.... i am here to try to point them to the truth.... The Bible's prophetic acurracy, scientic accuracy, and archaeological accuracy shows that the Bible was trully inspred by God.

Listen, I'm not a christian... but to me it doesn't seem like the point is whether every account in the is right or wrong... much of it was people trying to explain the world around them. The message is whats important.

Rite the message is important... and the message of the Bible says the only way to heaven is through Jesus.... people say that is to narrow but its the truth... No other religious text predicts future events before it happens that how I am sure that Christianity is the true religion.

 

Just do yourself a favor and don't forget the message, or get so concerned with proving it to yourself that you throw out the scientific method.

I don't think anyone wants me in on this arguement, I grew up in christian schools, and took religion course in college, and I know the bible very well too, someone lingering around here would get ripped a new one.......


BY the way I'll leave you with this since you know all your verses, where in the bible does the actualy bible contradict itself? How does it? What does it have to do with? There are a few things in the bible that are just OOOOOOLD misprints that no one noticed while writing the bible or simply the bible is still full of writings of men trying to figure it all out. I'm not saying the bible is a complete lie but hell I mean that would be like saying here I hate you and then up towards the top I started my sentence with I love you..... Find me these verses and I will believe your a true student of gods word. No NIV versions EITHER KJV ONLY

I really didn't have a problem with religious people. Then a Christian wanted me to come to her youth group. Then I was disgusted.
One song in particular:

It just pisses me off. Greatest treasure for those that choose you now?
Then this guy was talking about how God can't touch me because I have herb in my blood. I can never really be one with God. Pure ignorance.

Religion is there for people to grasp onto. It's the lifeboat for the sinking. It gives people something to believe in. Then it brainwashes them. Turns them into complete Jesus freak assholes. They never stop talking about it either. They are weak. They have nothing to grasp onto but their Bible.

I would never believe in something that would require blind faith... that's why I am a christian.... The only religion that has solid evidence... The Jews are not in Israel by mistake.
