I disagree, where is all this depression? I think we are in the information age and as a result, it is displayed in front of us more often, which is great news for the pharmecutical companies. Hell, this may even perpetuate a need. I have a happy life. I have happy friends and family. I have seen depression but I do not think it is the norm. Dont let TV lead you to believe otherwise.
indeed, it does. Boredom is actually a nasty condition and surely easily confused with deppression. People arent meant to be bubbly 24-7 and when they are not, they may call themselves depressed and possibly even hop on meds. Pretty scary, really.
