Why is peace so hard to achieve?

Muslims are no worse nor better than their young ill informed counterparts of the Christian faith.

As I was pointing out, there are few things more detrimental to peace than organized religion. All through history you have examples: the crusades, the inquisition, the pogroms, the holocaust, the jihads...there is no fanatic like a religious one. Like the picture above shows.
