its a great book... on par with hippies a to z,... btw, tom wolfe is still a prankster, he just went undercover and no one knows that he's still one
Molly is fake and thats all there is to be said-Anyone responding to Molly is being had-big time!-It would sure be nice if people were honest about who they really are on here. This forum is supposed to be a place to ask the mature people of the 60s questions; not irraitae people-what bullshit "Molly"-nice try!
we have different definitions of what is a hippy... you think hippies lived in the sixties... i say hippy is a ripple of joy in the meandering universal flowering of consciousness
-Just seems a shame that Keyes' with all his abililty did not put in to paper.-That was the original Trips festival on wheels!-Your either on the bus or your not-well' even though I was not on the bus I was at their party's-The Trips Festivals-Great sensory overload-
bro, I'm not a bad scribbler myself and I can't process all the stuff that goes on. Kesey was all about the experience. Here's hoping you hurt less these days than WG. he was in a lot of pain last I saw him.
i didn't know that... they were invited to help set up woodstock 69 and they did nothing but bug the shit out people and general irritation for weeks... although they more than attoned for themselves by serving breakfast in bed for 400,000
Ken Kesey always said he was too young to be a beatnik but too old to be a hippie, so hes a pretty much cross between the two cultures.
-I should have taken notes at the trips festivals-the next day of course!-in the moment of an LSD journey it;s hard to hold a pencil let alone write and make sense-but the next day the mind is crystal clear-mine was-I don't hurt at all-little confused on that one and who is WG?--I'm enjoying life alot-no complaints here-
I have a million stories I could tell you and I have had alot of people ask me to write a book. Who knows-I might. I would rather here stories from people like Sam Andrews from Big Brother and The Holding Co. and maybe Grace Slick or Mart Balin-These guys got the San Francisco music scene rolling along with many others-their stories I want to hear-
That was a great play in it's day-When it came to San Francisco they gave out a bunch of free tickets to folks on the commune-THEY ALL GOT NAKED!-on stage-amazing in it was unexpected-who knew?-They called a bunch of us up on stage at the end when the band jams and people dance-It was alot of fun-so was TOMMY-
Listen you all I am a hippie priest level 45 and you should all listen to me... otherwise i shall cast a level 13 label on you and turn you in a nazi or something -.-
