Well I'm thin, but I still hate the word fat. I think it's an insult to someone to say it. If they're overweight, they know it. Why would I want to make them feel more conscious of an obvious fact by saying something that could hurt their feelings? Especially if they struggle with their weight and aren't comfortable with how they look? I just can't be mean like that, and I don't want to either. So yes, I would stand up for someone if I heard insulting remarks about their weight.

 

HCM: A lot of them are comfortable with the way they look (even if it's somewhere between a cow and a sow) and its incumbent upon us the masses to remind them how unhealthy their condition is
