I prefer canadian maple syrup. It comes in these little bottles and you sprinkle some over pancakes. I knew this woman called Megan Monkman. Now she was from Vancouver and after many a trip, I used to get lots of postcards of some vancouver landmarks. Sadly she retired and I am not sure where she gone. But she made brilliant pancakes, Canadian style. Anyway it is good that we are encouraging Canadians. Perhaps it may not be Australia but we also have close links with Canada and so we can see from this example, the uk forums have not collapsed as a result of our Canadian friends and I don't imagine it ever will. Sometimes sense is key. Welcome Canadians.
duoh ! ok then ! but canada must suck a bit as its all mountains and bears and snow and shit like that - theres no really cool cities because theres hardly any cool people in canada - when was the last time you completely rocked to some canadian music
I like your barometer for judging whether people are cool and worthy. Rock music? Clever. Later sweetie, missing you already.
Canada have been the scapegoat for too long. Lets welcome our new arrivals. No, the uk forums have not crumbled because Canadians have merged with us (Not technically but communicatively) As many people droned on about in my poll which has been reduced to a sack of potatoes waiting to be put in the incinerater. Only an idea, well, never mind. There is this song called, Blame it on Canada. I disagree with the song as I don't think America's problems are all Canada's fault. Once again, welcome to uk forums. Stand strong, the wall has crumbled to the ground and we shalt unite like it is 1989....again
Randy Bachman Leonard Cohen k-os Matthew Good Meryn Cadell Alanis Morissette Bruce Cockburn We do alright.
not cool - did one good song lets iimpeach the president for lying just as soon as we get the royalties for this song and for lying and shit about the war just as soon as I get out of my mansion ! maybe you want to mention neil sedaka now or Barry Manilow or Burt humperdink (whose name actually sounds like a perversion) Along with crosby stills and nash he was peraps the most utter mediocrity to pick up a guitar - sorry hippies but he isnt that cool you just like him coz he is a rich hippy
Randy Bachman who ???? Leonard Cohen From the USA - or pretends to be - probly embarrassed about canadianism k-os (obviously not famous outside ottawa) Matthew Good (ditto) Meryn Cadell (ditto) Alanis Morissette (rubbish so she dont count) Bruce Cockburn (silly name obviously joking - one short of being nob-abrasions) no I mean real cool stuff like oasis and dizee rascal and killing joke and the smiths and me
No one can compare to the UK music scene. I'll completely agree there, but that doesn't mean we don't have ANY good music. And Leonard Cohen is from Quebec. Did you send me some love in the bday thread yet? *Goes off to look* I except cake you know.
dave loves bare naked ladies. i saw them at a festival in long beach or someting, years and years ago. and rush. dave loves rush. they don't do anything for me though obviously they're very well trained, musically speaking.

I never knew Bran Van 3000 was Canadian. I always liked them too. In fact here's a list of bands that originated in Canada. Thanks, Wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_bands_from_Canada And here's a list of Canadian musicians. There are a lot more more on both lists than what I expected there to be. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Canadian_musicians
