I would have guessed, say, 30's or 40's, due to the technical and informational emphasis.

However, your linguistic mannerisms, referring to /b/tards and ED betray your youth.

    35 isn't old. ;)

Seriously, it's not a bad thing.

I would love for people to think I was older than what I am.

I should take my age off... :p

Then they'll probably guess younger.

I would imagine that no woman wants to be considered "mature",,haha,,but maybe I'm wrong.

You seem to have a "mothering instinct". You're always putting virtual comfort on people here. :)

See, there, you show your ability to use language,,haha,,

But it's a familiarity with a largely symbolic language, rather than the fluidity of a verbal. It seems to indicate a strong emphasis on the left brain.

Maybe you like to be around theater, for the relief it gives you from the left-brain world? Just guessing.

When I was working as a civil electrician, I worked closely with some theater techs at a community theater.

Or were you referring to street theater, like the anons?

Nope, like, Real IATSE I didn't know who nickelback were until I set up their stage\hung their speakers theatre tech.

I actually need to get back into the union when unemployment gets sane again, decent pay, and hard, but rewarding work

nothing makes the ten year old boy in your soul jump more than seeing two fork lifts drop down something that is only supposed to be on one fork lift because the venue thought they had a bigger lift than they in fact do.

Yeah, IRL you do what you have to do with what's provided.

Didn't that happen in Europe recently, on Madonna's tour? Couple of people died when four forklifts were lifting some stage roof and it fell.

I've operated cranes before, and forklifts, for the California Dept. of Transportation. We put up downed light poles and traffic signals. I was "Mr.Crane". I had natural skills, multi-lever/hand-eye coordination qualified by virtue of my extensive video game experience.

    Crane operation is a trip.

But co-ordinating more than one forklift,,,that's just bad news. Very challenging, and very potentially deadly.

Oh, absolutely, but Awesome to watch (it was only lowering the main part of the stage from the truck to the ground, they were traveling with almost everything pre-wired so it was simple plug and play, most brilliant shit.)

    Sounds like good planning, engineering,,

I'll never understand people that run into difficulty because they just "did it", without thinking. It's such a time sink.

I over-plan everything, so I have, in the past, avoided that problem.

That sounds like me. I live the most stress/ carefree life it's almost criminal. Everyone else I know fights with their s.o and I can never help but wonder wtf is the point. I know fight is normal however. But I just figure, say we only live once, whether we do or not is irrelevant right now, why someone would want to live their life for and along side someone else boggles my mind. I have had a few serious relationships, two or which lasted over 2 years each, and they were good. But As I mature I realise that SOME (not everyone) tend to waste the person they are by spending it pleasing or caring for another. I know there are people who have great, healthy relationships, and thats fine. Although just for the sake of argument think of how peaceful the world could be if humans didn't feel the need to HAVE or OWN one another. What if everyone just loved (not necessarily sexual) one another and didn't pair off due to insecurities, jealousy, ownership, religious values, needyness, etc. Wouldn't that be a good place? Do what you want, when you want, how you want, why you want, where you want. It sounds a little hedonistic but the point is it would be a lot easier to maintain your individuality but at the same time feeling love and unity with others. Not a lot would change, but I bet you most people would be happier, more creative, less stress, etc. If two people decided to have children they could do so, as would be their right. Dunno, just my thoughts on the subject. Bottom line is I've 'practiced' being asexual for a few years now, by choice, and I can honestly say I've never been happier or more free feeling. I've had mass amounts of time to develop my person into the intelligent, strange, well-manner, inquisitive person I am today because of it. I usually come across as just plain crazy, but that's only because I have developed my person away from the thoughts and ideas of others. Which brings me to this link I would like to post because it has some relevance. Anyways, I'm also REALLY fucking sick of seeing couples whine or fight in public, if your having a shit day with your s.o don't do it in public and ruin my day or buzz, go do it in your goddamn house or car. :) Peace

If anyone is interested on the subject, here's a great story about a guy who 'creates' himself away from others, somewhat in the hopes of regaining individuality. It's a pretty good story
