That doesn't make any sense. You're assuming people who don't believe in something know they're wrong about it...aren't you all high and mighty?
seperation of church and state is part of the Constitution. the Establishment Clause states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion."
well neither do i, i'm probably leaning more towards the believing-in-God-and-being-a-christian side, but 1) i've read the bible and it forced more questions out of me than i had before i read the bible and 2) musicians who are jesus-lovers tend to piss me off because they are all the same. i dont want to be like that.
you dont have to have a religion. i think im a much better person for not being religious, and i can live a happy life believing in whatever i feel like believing
That means that congress (meaning the federal goverment) can't make a national religion. States can have an official denomination and Massachoosetts had an official denomination until 1833.
Even if you live 100 years, that's not that much. You have to spend all of eternity somewhere, and that's what counts.

Uhhh....first of all, gravity is completely evident, while the theme of god is completely abstract. You're saying even though I don't believe in hell, that belief doesn't delete it from being there. i've only ever met one atheist who argued this, and he was a highschool dropout. what proof is there that there is a god? because the bible says so? it also says that inter-racial marriages are wrong, parents should kill their kids if they dont listen, and you should cut off your hand if it causes you to sin.... among other things. the bible was heavily edited by churches during the middle ages and after the renaissance... word of god, eh?
God is evident in that there's stuff. Stuff doesn't just spontainiously appear. What about Jesus raising from the dead, don't get me started on that arguement cuz you'll never win.
