why?

    I second all the above comments;- walking with shoes on is too boring to contemplate, and they are definately bad for your feet. I've been barefooting regularly for years and have perfectly healthy feet, while my shod friends get the foot trouble!

    I think my feet are beautiful with their shapely, even toes.

    I'm barefoot because I love to flaunt my feet, and less for the connection with nature or anti-establishment.

    I'm probably 50/50 when it comes to this. I love being barefoot for the sensation but also for flaunting my feet. For years I've had a strong desire to go barefoot but felt too embarrassed to do so. All it took was a few positive comments from females on how nice my feet look to finally help rid of the shyness. Now I can enjoy the great sensation while not feeling shameful yet confident that my feet look great as well.
