Will we impeach him this time?

  1. And with all the "bombshell" testimonies, Trump should be in a Turkish prison by now. Or Kansas.

I think they're going to impeach him in the house. Adam Schiff suggests that the evidence is overwhelming. And he's at the helm as much if not more so than Nancy Pelosi. I believe it's only a matter of time. And that they're mandating another testimony; this time McGahn. I don't know what he's going to say though. Isn't it closed door this time?

Jerry Nadler invited Trump to the impeachment hearings.
He can also question the witnesses!
Of course Trump doesn't have the balls.

  4. It would only lend credibility to something that would not be to his advantage. He has the option to avoid feeding into this. It's not a balls issue, it's a legal issue.

No it isn't. He and the Republicans have been complaining for weeks about "secret meetings" basement rooms, not being allowed to call witnesses, etc, etc.

Although I admit it wouldn't be to his advantage, finding out the truth would not be to Trump's advantage.
Trump doesn't have the BALLS to show up.

  6. Right, so why jump in after the narrative has already been contrived in private sessions? It's an obvious setup, the only logical play is to refuse.

He might pull a 'prince Andrew' :p so better not. Understandable.

  8. He doesn't need to show up if it's proven that there were secret meetings.
Try and not lose your cool with everyone mate. Keep it civil.

I think we should definitely continue to pursue impeachment. But I think that with questions being raised about Sondland's credibility we should let him go.

LOL. A classic? It single-handedly killed Tom Green's career. It won a Razzie.

    My reply:
And therein lies the rub.... They've spent all this money carefully selecting the polling audience of their choice in hopes of getting the results they want, all in the equally vain attempt to influence the electorate into choosing their preferred candidate while never realizing that said electorate is sick of their collective $h!t. Those that feel entitled to public office they didn't get just keep shooting themselves in the foot while the entire republic looks on shaking their heads in astonishment.

I really enjoyed watching the egg on the faces of the delusioned and the behaviors of those wailing and gnashing their teeth in frustration and impotent rage. It was epic. The newscasters were the best. Then followed the inevitable memes. Priceless. And the impotent rage just kept coming. Even now as it seems the leftists have squandered the past few years doing nothing but trying to undo the past election, which makes the electorate even more enraged at them.

I guess it didn't occur to anyone at the time, but we survived the previous 8 years, and we'll survive the next. Each one tries to undo whatever his/her predecessor did, and all for nothing.

It's all so entertaining, and still so vain.

It's also not reality. Most major national polls don't work that way. BTW, if "leftists" means Democrats, nothing much they can do legislation wise when the Senate & the presidency are controlled by Republicans. Sit back and laugh if you will, but another five years of Trump will do real damage to this country.

The "secret meetings" Trump and the Republicans are referring to are the closed door hearings the House had been having about the impeachment. Closed means they were limited to members of the Foreign Affairs, Intelligence and Oversight, and Reform committees, not that there is something secret about them. These committees are made up of both Republicans and Democrats...so nothing secret, nothing partisan.
Closed hearings are held so that one witness doesn't know what another witness has testified to, that's how you find out if someone is lying. You don't allow witnesses to get together to concoct a story line.

The transcripts of the closed sessions have been released and the witnesses have testified in public, as we saw last week.

You can't catch someone in a perjury trap if they tell the truth.

It's a B movie/questionable comedy classic, like Adam Sandlers Happy Gilmore.
But if it killed Greens career that makes it a classic too :-D

What if he's right about other things and Bernie is the Tom Green of candidates?

    I'm living a life!

He's not entirely right as usual. You have to put Greens career in perspective:
    :p
