Will you allow yourself to be implanted with the chip under your skin?

Over a year ago, I was seeing product like Hello Kitty RFID blocker cases for cards. It's not like they're anything new and it's not like people haven't been fucking with them already. But hey...lets all jump down a pit of complete fear.

People seriously need to know more about the technologies they rant on. It's not all doom and gloom if you're smart and on top of it. Drop the luddite attitude and befriend yourself an uber-geek - they are your path to freedom when The Man tries to come down with his hammer.

Pentagon to implant microchips in soldiers' brains
Posted in the database on Wednesday, August 01st, 2007 @ 19:47:10 MST (23880 views)
    by Adam Thomas Press Esc

The Department of Defense is planning to implant microchips in soldiers' brains for monitoring their health information, and has already awarded a $1.6 million contract to the Center for Bioelectronics, Biosensors and Biochips (C3B) at Clemson University for the development of an implantable "biochip".

Soldiers fear that the biochip, about the size of a grain of rice, which measures and relays information on soldiers vital signs 24 hours a day, can be used to put them under surveillance even when they are off duty.

But Anthony Guiseppi-Elie, C3B director and Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Bioengineering claims the that the invivo biosensors will save lives as first responders to the trauma scene could inject the biochip into the wounded victim and gather data almost immediately.

He believes that the device has other long-term potential applications, such as monitoring astronauts’ vital signs during long-duration space flights and reading blood-sugar levels for diabetics.

“We now lose a large percentage of patients to bleeding, and getting vital information such as how much oxygen is in the tissue back to ER physicians and medical personnel can often mean the difference between life and death,” said Guiseppi-Elie. “Our goal is to improve the quality and expediency of care for fallen soldiers and civilian trauma victims.” The biochip also may be injected as a precaution to future traumas."

Clemson scientists have formulated a gel that mimics human tissue and reduces the chances of the body rejecting the biochip, which has been a problem in the past.

The researcher predicts the biochip is five years away from human trials, and the DoD could start implanting microchips in soldiers bodies soon after.

But who allows 'them' to look 'down' on you ... who makes you look impoverished and 2nd class then ? ... when we stop seeing ourselves as victims, we might feel not that bad even without access to this world's palaces of consumer goods. Paradise has a prize, but then paradise is not real anyway. Even 'government' is not real ... politics is not real ...
just take a moment and imagine you create this world, all of it ... like you are the one responsible for each and every thing that comes into your awareness. It is all yours ... what will you do with it ?

We are society. We are the politics. We are the government. We hurt ...
And yet we are our own power. We are where we choose to be. We are this world which seems so starving and yet is so abundant.

And still we feed our fears, as fear too is a mighty power. Fear curbs the need to live unsafely. We forget our birth right to die (and fully live). Fear goes hand in hand with self denial. The need to control seems a mass phenomen but still we set up the rules, by both seeing ourselfes as victims, and putting ourselfes into those places of power which seem accepted. Fear is one of them.

And yet none can take away from us the potential that is truly ours ... and we can not really throw it away either, can we ?

Talking about spirit ... yeah just rambling.

I remember when the retail industry tried to put these chips in products, that was met with huge resistance. The problem was that stores could set up scanners to instantly know your identity, your tastes, and spending habits, and they could react according to your profile. So if you're a cheap skate like me, they would treat you like shit, and discourage you from shopping there. Obviously, it would reach a whole new level if they planted these things under your skin. Anyone with a scanner would immediately know your identity, and could have access to your personal information, criminal records, etc. The question then would be who would have access to the scanners?

No, I'll pass on the chip, thanks, but I doubt it'll happen in my lifetime.

Good to know. Make sure you have one of these bad boys on hand if they ever make the chips mandatory.

maybe we are looking at this chip thing wrong....it would seem that powers that want to implant a chip in us....well they work for us supposely....and since there ain't very many politicians who can ever account for their where abouts half the time....this way we could keep tabs on our elected employees :)

Let's chip everything. Let's start with our president. When he and his family get chips I will too. When Condi Rice get's hers I'll run right down and get one too!

Afterall it's good for you and protects your security...or does it?

Are we to fear that if we don't chip our kids they will be kidnapped? Is this the newest terrorist fear, and where is it originating from...I don't think it's coming from Islamic Fascists? I think it's coming from western corporations that seek to make a buck by spreading fear and hysteria. Bird flu didn't work.

If terrorism doesn't work tell them the world is heating up, the sky is falling.

Funny thing is we shouldn't worry about tainted imports. Your pets may die, your children exposed to lead poisioning but....no fear our government is on top of it....you believe that?

What I see where I live is even if you have a college degree, the only jobs you can get are in the service industries. We don't have many here in my neck of the woods. Our industries used to wood milling and cattle, not anymore, our biggest employers now are: The one hospital left in our area, (our county hospital was closed), so the only hospital in the area is a Catholic conglomerate, and county jobs, (not even state jobs, state jobs in my town evaporated in the eighties). Motels are springing up, but you better know Spanish or don't apply. Where does that leave us? Is my area of the pacific west to become only a way stop for Nafta cargo, and where is that cargo going if citizens of the US and Canada can't afford to buy the goods? What good is Nafta? Think about it if the single digit elite don't dain to buy cheap goods, and their hired staff can't afford to buy them what's their new market?

I really have a hard time viewing the Chinese populus purchasing HD TVs. And if they do have the money and the want, why build the NAFTA corridor, why not focus on your Chinese market.

It might. Depends on how much of the data on these things is stored in non-volatile memory (e-squared or flash), and what's stored in there. The stuff is basically stored by the alignment of electrons. You can erase all that shit with a good electomagnetic field, and presumably a degausser will deliver that sort of field. Which brings us to the crux of the whole idea, they're not gonna go there if the shit can be corrupted--and yeah, if we gotta get that shit implanted, G Dubya's gonna get one of those babys too, and we're not gonna be any safer against terrorism or whatever, but I'm not gonna waste my time worrying about it.

Yeah lordy its here at last!!!!!! Hey where do I go to get one ?? you never provided links?

a chip under the skin, so we wont need a drivers licence passport or anything and it will show if I had my rabies injections. Do you think they would be interested in upgrading the ram and letting me use it as a sort of server sim incase i lose my phone? Also the fact that I do not want to be an orgn donor and definitely dont want cremation. Hey this is a fantastic advancement - store credits on a chip istead of carrying money ! great _ I will get one 4 sure

I mean what have i got to lose? hey just as an afterthought maybe they could glow different colours under the skin to show people what metal you could afford on the pins for the chip - gold, titanium etc or flashing for at the local meat market disco

common human decency and the law, plus the fact that they would have to have them too and also the fact that ordinary people like the folks here are way too grandiose in their paranoia. The vast majority of people indulge in mere fantasy that a government might want to kill them for their belief in opposition to their economic plans. Thats so narcistic that I laugh a lot at the thought. The fact is if the government really dont like you, you just get ignored everywhere you meet their representatives, but if they hate you because you stole from them or something then they put you in prison. You really gotta have shafted a politicians sphincter hard with 9ft of shaft, and left them with a gallon of cock junk in the face and their unerwear around the ankles while they are tied over a barrel exposing their sore anus to the world, to get killed

oh yes, the goverment acts in our best interest [IMG]

They are here to protect is from the scary boogeymen of the world.

They would never sell out to international bankers!

They are the perfect nanny to people! They support us and give us rewards for being "good" subservent little drones.

What they say on TV must be true because TV never lies. TV is just harmless fun, doesn't have any true impact!

What they don't mention is not true, because they only say what is important.

If they want you to get the chip, well, it must be good for us, no questions asked.

    Right?

or you can wake up and do your own independent research. There are plenty of powerful people, with connections you can research who admit to some pretty screwy things.

    enjoy living in your daze.

well actually it may have escaped your attention that those rich folk who have the cash to control a nation like to kill each other for power games. My point is that a lot of people such as us here , if we face reality, are really puny insignificant specks politically speaking. Unless you are going to get up and start interfering in the flow of money from around the world into the bush family bank, why should they bother with you. How paranoid and delusional are people going to be before they realise the world really does revolve around people that powerful and it does not revolve around you?
LOL honestly some people and their grandiose fantasies about being killed by governments. Nobody except you and your family knows you even exist sunshine !
Now if you got a plan to stand up, like the kennedies did and say, ya know we had enough of the money flowin into your bank, now we want to make it so it flows into ours, well thats billions of big boy dollars you gotta have a fat fuckin flack jacket bwoi

Ha ha ha fucking hell the thought you gonna be killed by your governbment, havent you heard if they want you dead and youre a nobody they just have you knifed like you been robbed up a alley way by a couple of stinkin junkies.

knifed up a alley way man - not technologically massaged to death

No,they don't kill each other--they send the young to die.The ones that haven't learned to think things through for themselves. The outspoken ones-those with power- get theirs anywhere ,even in public.(Dallas, for example). But you're right about us being nothing.Absolutely nothing but---and I hate this term--consumers.[IMG]

While I'm never gonna be chipped, i think your not understanding what this tech is capable of. In order to read an RFID chip you need to be within a few feet, tin foil will block them (probably have a few people here that already have their hats ready), they are vulnerable to copying as well as changing.

I think most importantly they do not have any function that can track you any better then your credit card already does.

I don't think that forcing id chips on people will happen anytime soon, and that actually might be more to do with the Christian presence in the US then any other voting block.
Christians believe that the Anti-Christ will brand everyone with a number, and i have already heard Christian groups voicing their disapproval with human RFID.

The reality is that RFID is probably already around you. Wal-Mart requires there suppliers to be pro RFID and the chips are being put in clothing as well as food.

One thing that you might worry about is the ability for a cell phone to interface with your RFID and use its wireless + GPS capabilities to enhance the tracking of the RFID chips, but then again they could just track your cell phone if 'they' wanted to.

You know its funny someone mentioned a chip that could remotely kill someone, i read about that in some book, it was a tiny explosive device that was attached to a main artery and on detonation would leave the victim internally bleeding until death.

This is old school, but still funny
