well girl, my point was just that if doing the wilderness things you had mentioned was SO much better than being on the internet, then you might as well be outside doing them rather than being inside on the internet.
of course not. i was really mostly just put off by the assertion that only certain activities are allowable in certain settings. it's great being in the woods, why not post from there if you enjoy both being in the woods and posting?
You certainly won't find "peace" on the Net! When I go into the woods, it's to commune with nature, not to post on Fuckbook. I can see it now... Fuckbook Status Update: I'm in the woods taking a leak... Fuckbook Status Update: I saw a squirrel and it looked just like Orison! (see photo I just uploaded!) Fuckbook Status Update: An eagle shit on me! (see photo I just uploaded!) Fuckbook Status Update: I think I'm LOST! Help! Fuckbook Status Update: Never mind, I found the trail again. Fuckbook Status Update: I found some wild hickory nuts! (stole them from Orison's cousin). Fuckbook Status Update: OH, Shit, those weren't wild hickory nuts, I'm going the way of Euell Gibbons!!! Fuckbook Status Update: What a cute little baby bear I just found! (see photo I just uploaded!) Fuckbook Status Update: Help, the bear's mother is eating me! (see photo I just uploaded!) Fuckbook Status Update: I'm Dead! But I can still update my Fuckbook!
I am at peace whether I am posting on the internet or taking a leak. And if I find myself not a peace, I choose again. I'm not here to fill everyone in on my day to day. I posted a random thought, it's not a habit. Peace is not something you find but a state of being. I hope the internet doesn't irritate you too much since you are so vested in it.
