With basic needs covered and a $100 a month budget, would you work?

Seriously, unless you don't drink, smoke or go out to eat, in a city, this would be a horrible life... What's a 100$ going to do for you in a city?

Personally, I would rather somoene offered the same in the country, minus the money, but included the net and tv in exchange for a couple of hours of work...

Of course, who would offer something like that...

    Horrible life? Hyperbole-much?

There's people in Toronto who work shit jobs and hardly feed themselves while living in a squaller.

On the contrary, the option of a decent living arrangement in Toronto is at least $900 a month if not more.

In the country it should be easier to rent out a basement apartment for $600 a month.

And from my view, I do not currently smoke and I could easily quit drinking.

Like I said, read books to better your mind and save up that $100 if you want something special.

Haha, I guess long vacations would be difficult but if you wanted to go somewhere 8 hour drive away you could get a cheap ride through those carpool programs and afford a few nights at a lower end hotel.

Honestly, I figure if I didn't have excess money I'd work my body a lot more.

I've lived like that before, except with more pocket money-I wouldn't do it again. I want to have a better life,be able to travel, do what I want to do.

I'm not sure, if I could play in a band and make a bit of money off that but always have at least $100 to fall back on would be awesome.
