I personally am very shy when it comes to guys I am interested in. For example, there is this one guy that I've been eyeing for over a year now. He works for a company that I work for through a sub-contract. He's seriously hot but I can't just seem to strike up a non-work related conversation with him. It took me over a year just to make eye contact with him. Which actually happened yesturday.

For the longest time he never seemed to notice me and so my stares went unnoticed. This season he started looking back and whenever he did it was almost a natural reaction to turn my head. Then I'd be cursing at myself for missing my chance to make eye contact in hopes that if gave HIM the courage to come to me. Yesturday I forced myself to make contact and it happened twice. He hasn't talked to me, yet, except for in general conversation about work related issues.

*sighs* I wish I could just have the courage to go up to him and tell him I think he's hot but I don't want to ruin the working conditions and I don't want to cross the line of work relationships even though he's not an employee of my company. I don't know if he has a girlfriend and I'd feel bad if I hit on him and then found out he had a girlfriend. I believe in loyalty too much. Blah.

 

I forgot to say that I have made the move on guys before a couple times. Some just give me enough clues that it would be okay. It's the ones that don't give me enough obvious clues. It also depends on my level of attraction. If I think they are out of my league and they are really hot, I tend to be extremely reserved and shy. I have also been known to become a stuttering idiot around guys I really have a crush on.

 

yep..thats me too.. the first time my husband spoke to me i couldnt string a sentance together... dropped my bag and the contents went everywhere.. bent down to pick everything up and found my legs had turned to jelly... so much for elegant and intellectual..!
now i can make the first move because i havent ever met anyone since that does that to me... so i guess that doesnt count as its just a 'mate' thing. .when i do eventually come across a guy i want to make a move on i just know i wont be capable as i'll be struck dumb again...

well.. as i work in a hotel, then sometimes it is fun to hit on my clients.. and it can go quite far.. but well hei, I don't know what they are thinking, but I do it just up for laugh.. well at least they speak to me.. but there are people who will never come back again (prolly because of me.. - hheheheh really sorry indeed) but hell yeah, pals are good and way too much eye contact might become pushing way too much..

I can't just like go over to a random girl I like and start talking to her, if I really want a girl I try to get eye contact, and if I can lock the contact I walk over, if not then I don't bother... Well I mean ofcourse, if a girl turns away because she's shy I wait till she looks again then walk over, but you can see in her eyes if she likes you...

I'm not in to the whole, looking at her till she looks then look away thing, I just look in her eyes with a little smile on...

Plus I was once wearing a t-shit that looked like a naked female body at a festival, so I know how easy it is to see if people are looking at your face or boobs



There is just one problem, I'm in love with eyes... So sometimes I just stare like a total dork I did that to my ex, she's got so beautiful eyes I lost all sence of time and space, luckily she thought it was cute...
We still love eachother tho, but it's more of a friend thing we found out, so now we're just really good friends

I live in San Antonio now, I just finished undergrad at UT in May, though and since San Antonio is so close to Austin, I still frequent it. I love all kinds of music and that's what was so freakin' awesome about Austin, you kind find just about anything every night. What bands are your friends in and where do they play? I bet I've seen them, I'm a live music junkie. And where are you from?
