    I am an independent artist. Yes, yes... there's all the technical crapocities of it all... but, indie/independent music is tyically music with meaning and feeling and there's a freedom to it as you don't have slimy music industry people on you...

    many of them were indie at one point, but slowly creeped in to fame.

    i know modest mouse, sonic youth, and elliott smith arent very indie anymore, but to me they are.

    In my opinion, indie is music that is...more sophisticated, i suppose if thats the right word.
